Knotting traditions: From Tibet to Nepal

Refugees from Tibet brought the tradition of the sling knot with them to their new home in Nepal. Together with these skilled craftspeople, we established new carpet weaving mills, to turn the robust wool of Tibetan mountain sheep into handcrafted treasures. A true story of ancient craftsmanship tied to the splendor of nature.
