Personalized Floor Art—Your GEBA Custom Carpet

Harald gathers inspiration for his creations all year while traveling, visiting international trade fairs and art galleries, watching people on the street, and in nature. This means that new carpet ideas and designs are constantly being created. GEBA’s production sites in Nepal give Harald the wonderful opportunity to experiment with his ideas before sending them into production. Year after year, new collections are created that complement the already existing carpet designs.

However, if we don’t have exactly the right carpet for your space, we are happy to produce any design request, no matter how unique. This allows you to not only personally determine your design, you can also choose between different shapes, sizes, pile heights, relief patterns, and a wide range of colors. Add a truly personal touch to your home! For us, a GEBA carpet is like art on the floor.

To make sure your personal GEBA dream carpet comes true, Harald Geba is happy to visit you in your home—if you wish—after an initial consultation at our carpet gallery in Graz. This means that your new carpet ideas can flow into our creative process right from the start, resulting in a perfect match with the space. A digital mock-up of your space, with and without a carpet, will help support you in making your decision. Carpets communicate with their environment, and look very different in the gallery and web shop than they do in a home. For this reason, we recommend selecting several different carpets, either at the gallery or online. Harald Geba will then bring these carpets (and maybe a few other suggestions) to the consultation appointment.

Living spaces are always very personal and unique in their own way. This can, in some cases, cause some uncertainty about the right size. Our decades of experience will help you find the perfect shape, size, and color. Your bespoke carpet will be made of 100% high-quality highland sheep’s wool. If you like, we can also use up to 30% silk or other natural materials to create a special sheen or various effects. The GEBA palette covers a range of 256 different color shades that can be freely combined to create any design. GEBA works with two different carpet studios specialized in making very diverse designs.

Depending on complexity, size, and design, production times range from 8 to 20 weeks after a design is approved. Starting from the very first design idea together with the customer, through to manufacturing in the Tibetan tradition, every unique GEBA rug is produced under fair trade conditions and tells its very own—or in this case your very own—personal story. This is what makes the charm and character of GEBA carpets so visible.
